George Briggs

George Briggs

George was appointed to the board in April 2007.  He was the previous Manager of the Park and is now a self-employed Business Consultant.

He spent 17 years with LEDU including 2 years on secondment to NISBI.  George is an accredited business trainer on the Start A Business Programme and other training programmes.  George is the founding Chair of the Institute of Business Advisors (NI), he was a previous director and last Institute Vice Chair before the formation of the Institute of Business Consulting (IBC).  George previously held management positions in three other enterprise agencies and was director of North City Business Centre for 10 years.

George is a Fellow of the Institute of Business Consulting, is a member of the Chartered Management Institute and an associate of the Chartered Institute of Training & Development.
